At midday of 7th June, at the merging classroom, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department convened all staff conference in order to conduct summary in terms of education& teaching in the preceding phase as well as proceed meticulous arrangement& deployment in the subsequent stage.
Initially at the meeting, Deputy Director Hu Sen laid emphasis on the new self-study watch system starting this week with teachers attending classes in the first two sessions and teachers making an inspection tour in the last two sessions.
Additionally, Deputy Director Hu Sen put forward specific requirements for teachers supervising self-study at night. First of all, teachers were supposed to be aware of emergency precaution. Second of all, teachers should tour unceasingly into the classroom to examine the actual number of students attending self-study at night. Third of all, after the class, teachers should supervise students to line up and go back to dormitories. Also, teachers were requested to send students back into their dorms and make appropriate arrangements.
Furthermore, head teachers should take advantage of class meetings to urge students’ self-discipline and demanded that students should observe discipline in class to create favorable learning atmosphere themselves. Other than that, head teachers should fully arouse the impact of class leaders& headmen of the queue in order that their subjective initiatives were developed with class leaders filling in class logs earnestly in addition to headmen urging students’ conscientious queue-up. We hoped everyone would perform his duty to guarantee the safety, orderliness, quietness& standard management of self-study at night.
Moreover, Deputy Director Hu Sen pointed out the existing issues in teachers’ work of the previous phase. He hoped that all teachers could stick to noble sentiment, discern honor& disgrace, set strict demands on themselves, model truthful behavior in all aspects for students and initiate influence on students with personal charisma.
On the whole, Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Ling Qian summarized the conference, emphasizing that each class was supposed to take effective measures, positively implement the new policy and set up a platform for students to boost their self-management abilities. Besides, upon the graduation of Grade 9 students, we vigorously proposed civilized departure from school. Head teachers should hold conclusion meetings to guide students in terms of pre-exam preparations in that students were urged to take part in the exams honestly, demonstrating excellent performance& graceful manners.
Overall, Principal Assistant Ling Qian presented new aspirations for all staff in that during the last month of the second semester, all teachers would pay high attention, continue regular work and enhance the awareness of self-management to ensure the well-aligned& smooth implementation of all kinds of job requirements of Anqing Foreign Language School.
